'Papa wanna parking E ah'

I forgot to mention that Jared's favourite letter is 'E'.

Sometimes I wonder why he likes/loves (like he puts it himself) certain things.

Of late, whenever we're on the way out after dinner for a walk at Causeway Point, Woodlands Mart, Woodgrove or the Mrt station, Jared will inevitably ask the quintessential question: 'Papa, you parking which level ah?' To which his father will tell him that he is either at deck A, B or C (depending on the time he's back) and Jared will whine and tell his father: 'E got space. Papa, you parking E ah?'

And then the two continues with their crazy argument. Jared on why GG should park at E because it has lots of lots and that E is 'nice'. And GG about why he should park at A, B or C so that we all don't have to climb up so many flights of stairs and he can save petrol! Argh, the two!

Last week, when GG parked at deck D, Jared kicked up a huge fuss and whined and kicked in the car. GG yelled at him for being ridiculous and that it's crazy we have to be bossed around by him. Since then, Jared has changed tactics. Whenever we reach the carpark, he'll ask GG nicely, 'Papa, where you wanna park?'

Because most times we reach home so late, we park at E. Much to the delight of the boy, who gets off the car, then goes to the wall and touches the letter 'E'.

So strange.

I hope he doesn't like to have the letter 'E' splashed all over his report card in the future... I'd be one unhappy mum. ;(
